What started out as a personal endeavor of two determined women has evolved into a successful charitable foundation centering around an annual golf outing - netting over $150,000 a year and benefiting a wide variety of local and state non-profit groups. The goal is straightforward - imagine the impossible and make it a reality for those in need, especially when those in need are children and young people.

The dynamic mother - daughter duo of Maggie McEnery and Jennifer Christopher are the heart and soul behind i•mag•jen's overwhelming success. Even though the charity was incorporated in 1997, McEnery and Christopher have been raising funds for charities since 1989. The mission has been a very personal one. Maggie explains, " In 1987, I almost lost my son in a terrible car accident. While he was in a coma, I remember feeling lost and alone. I felt as though there was no hope. Thankfully, he recovered. That life-altering event was the inspiration behind creating i•mag•jen Charities. We want to give hope to others in need."

I•mag•jen Charities has succeeded in raising over one million dollars for various non-profit organizations throughout the state. Past recipients of i*mag*jen's charitable efforts include Illinois Special Olympics, Misericordia Heart of Mercy, Providence Catholic High School and Great Expectations. Hard work, determination and dedication behind i•mag•jen's philanthropic efforts has bettered the lives of many people.
